I've got no friends to test out my shopping cart app, can you please
give it a go?

Feel free to add/remove/change anything.

I've tested it extensively myself, and found no problems bar session
some times getting lost (server problem).
Only unique feature is uploading *.swf and dynamic resize of them.
I've also go a little problem with swf banners z-index, is there any
way of placing something over <object>swf</object> ?

Looks good. It's a little confusing as to how I can return to the catalog
once I've added an item to the cart. Maybe have a link to "add more items".

Other than that it looks good.

You have a small problem with trying to add multiple items....

1. Add Item to Cart
2. Go to basket to review Cart
3. Go back to original page
4. Click 'Add to cart'
5. It says its added 1 (but it hasn't) there's still only 1 in my basket

Actually - at this point I thought I'd just try it again to make sure I
hadn't got it wrong and done something odd, and now it's all gone a bit
screwy.....

1. Add 'The New Imac'
2. Says it has added it, basket bit at top right says '1 item'
3. Click on basket item and it says that the basket is empty
4. Go back to homepage, add 'Harry Potter' dvd thing...
5. on one occasion it said it had added it, but hadn't as above - the other
time it said my basket was full.

Basically, now my basket is continually empty. At one point I did remove
the imac - maybe there's something wrong in the removing code?

Sorry - I think I broke it :(

You are not replacing the ' with '' when searching for products. Puttin
a ' causes an error which means it is possible for me inject SQL
statements into your database.

Thanks for testing it out!
I've followed your instruction to the word 5-6 and I'm unable to
replicate the problem.

I believe you, I'm just having a hard time repeating the problem.
I'm using a single session to store the Cart Items and Quantity then
comparing it to the In Stock value.

I've had a intermitten problem where after you register for the first
time it empties your basket (Session goes AWOL) and there's nothing in
the code that would do that.

Do you think I should use a persistent cookie instead of a session
cookie?

On another note have you tried adding a product/category/shipping
method?

http://www.vpasp.com it hasn't got as many features, but it's a lot
easier to use.
