Does anyone know of any freeware component or something which allows me to
dynamically create images... all I want to do is draw circles, lines, and
write text.

The .NET Framework provides some. Off the top of my head,
I can't name anything, but if you can get your hands on
Wrox's Professional ASP.Net, I do remember seeing an
example in there, about 200 hundred pages in or so and if
memory serves, towards the bottom left hand corner of the
right-hand page.
