When using the IE4, users can drag hyperlinks between open copies of IE.
Dropping a dragged link causes the receiver to Navigate to the link which
was dropped. Similarly, dropping a hyperlink on the desktop creates a
shortcut. Does anyone know how the link dragging process works? Its not
standard Windows drag-and-drop and it appears to be different than standard
OLE drag-and-drop. Any ideas?

Actually it's standard OLE drag-and-drop.

Another cool trick is to drag from the upper left corner icon to the
Favorites panel and drop it to add a shortcut to a particular
Favorites folder. The folders even expand as you are about to drop
the shortcut.
