Which element in the IE architecture, execute javascripts on web pages ?

Is it MSHTML that execute the javascripts on web pges ? or is it something
else.

The JavaScript engine is implemented in jscript.dll. MSHTML acts as the
script engine host.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not
