Does any one know if you can switch classes?

The idea is not to do a mouse over or whatever but to change the class or
id. I'm beginning to think it's impossible.

Another question: How do you reference the anchor objects? Let's say to turn
them all to green on a mouseover.

Use the className property, e.g., onclick="this.className=red".
