Strange things happen when pasting...invisible text.

a 'funny' thing keeps happening when I try to paste text in DEC. This
doesn't seem to happen always, only in IE5.5 (?). I have tried it in
IE5.0 and IE6.0 but I can't make it happen there. And it only seems to
happen after you have pasted text from the clip-board (ie. Ctrl-C/X
from Word, Notepad etc), not before. But nothing is destroyed, all
text is still there, the only thing that doesn't seem to happen is an
update of the DEC. Solution to this is to press any button on the
keyboard to trigger an 'update', and the text will show.
When you paste the text and this problem occure the new text is shown
as if the pasted text was white and didn't take any place, but the
cursor jumps to the end of it. If you touch any button on the keyboard
the text will appear.
Does anybody know if this is a special feauture using DEC and IE5.5?
Or could it be something else?
