Sorry, I am not a developer and not totally familiar with this area of MSDN,
however I do know it's in the System Developer kit (SDK).

I believe the best folks to help you is not in the General group, but in the
developer's newsgroup. For your convenience, I have cross-posted this to the
following two groups:

microsoft.public.inetsdk.programming.active_scrptng
microsoft.public.inetsdk.programming.components.dev

You can check back in this newsgroup for responses. I believe the developers
in those groups (there are about 5 or more dev groups, FYI), can better
help.

just reporting that I've found it :)

seems that naming has changed since the msdn article was written, so now it
is Windows SDK for Windows Server 2008 and .NET Framework 3.5, at:

it's necessary to check 'samples' at install. the path at installation is
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft
SDKs\Windows\v6.1\Samples\WinBase\Indexing\IISSearch"

Cool. Glad you figured it out! I didn't have any idea they would have pulled
the older stuff, but it makes sense to move on to current stuff.
