IE 8 background-repeat: no-repeat; Repeating antway

Hoping someone is able to lend a hand.
I am getting an extra image even though I am coding it not to. It works fine
in Mozilla FF 3.0.9 and earlier versions of IE (just noticed it looks
horrible in Safari).
I'm using a bg image for a line item for alignment purposes but maybe I
should re-think that...
