How do I turn on JavaScript in Internet Explorer? I've done the
Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom Level>Scripting>Enable thing and it IS
enabled but I can not watch a You Tube video and they tell me I need to have
JavaScript enabled.

Well, I have this problem too and I'm close to reinstalling the whole OS.
I've tried uninstalling and installing IE8 again with no result. Anyone
resolved this one?

Very odd. That's the setting that turns JavaScript off and on. I'd
really have to guess that YouTube is getting it wrong. I'd love to
know what they're looking at to make the determination.

Have you considered installing Firefox, at least to view the sites
where OE is giving you grief?
