I have 2 PCs at home and wanted to transfer some of my messages filed in my
Outlook Express Local Folder, eg. Hobbies, from PC-A to PC-B so I went to
C/Windows/Application Data/Identities/Microsoft/Outlook Express where all
the inbox, folders' messages are kept (.dbx) and copied to disk then recopy
to PC-B in the same folder.
However when I open the Outlook Express Local Folder in PC-B, I cannot see
the copied folders although I can see them in Windows Explorer after I
transfer from diskette.
Am I missing any step ?
Appreciate your help
Thanks
Anthony

Howdy Anthony,

The following links may contain an answer to your problem.

Tom Koch's "OE5 FAQ", which answers--
How do I import OE4 mail folders?
How do I import OE5 mail folders?
How do I import a single mail folder (*.dbx)?:
http://www.tomsterdam.com/insideOE5/faqs/index.htm#how

Also, Tom Koch's "Backup & Restore / OE5"
http://www.tomsterdam.com/insideoe5/backup/index.htm

Not to mention LAST PARAGRAPH of Steve Cochran's "How do I back up my files
and settings?" might be of help:
http://chattanooga.net/~scochran/backup.htm

Good luck.
