How to get rid of these bloody far east spam mails

Does any other UK users currently get thousands of spam emails from the far
east (ie, Japan, Korea, etc)?
I have gone through many of their 'Remove' options on their emails, but this
seems to send more. I don't want to change my email address, so could you
tell me if there is a site where you can stop them from coming.

Sorry to tell you but by going through their remove options, that just
invites more.
I've started using a very nice spam fighter, that also happens to be free.
It's called SpamNet by Cloudmark. It's a bit long to explain how it works,
but trust me, it's worth checking out. Their website is www.cloudmark.com

I don't know about thousands, but I get tens a day.
This is mostly because I dislike using a fake id and won't use one.
Never reply, but forward illegal ones to your ISP's abuse dept.
I put all email from .tw, hotmail and yahoo (main Spam origins) straight
into the delete folder. Anything over 3k goes in a long messages folder,
and mail with attachments in another. OE5 is not very good at obeying the
rules, but this diverts most of the Spam.
I check the delete folder for any real messages, and then sort the long
message folder by subject. This puts all the non English messages at the
top. Then I select a genuine message and select all. I unselect any
genuine messages and then delete all. All the remaining Spam then goes in
the delete folder without even being opened.
This avoids all the pop ups, auto site links, scripts and downloaded images
much of the Spam contains.
If you get mail bombed then login into the server and delete them all there,
this avoids wasting hours downloading.

haven't downloaded the language set so all the emails I receive are garbled.
Is there anyway I can check for any emails that require the language set and
thus delete them straight away?
I'm using Outlook 2002 and Outlook Express 5

Not sure about OE but I have Agent set to auto-delete any message that
contains any of the following characters anywhere in the header: ю г б
т о ы. This gets rid of all of the offending mails quite nicely.

As most of these foreign messages contain non english characters, I set up a
filter to delete any that contain things like ΝΟΐΗ Μή ΑΦΌ from the server.
Stops 99% of them getting through. Just cut and paste the characters from
the e-mails.
And I don't munge my e-mail addie either, admittedly its not my main one but
everything from this one goes in a seperate folder.

with "ks_c_5601-1987" or "ISO-2022-KR" in the message header
assign it to the "Junk-Korean" category
and move it the "Deleted Items" folder
and stop processing more rules
This finds most of the Korean Spam by the character set encoding set in the
message header.
You could also search for the +/- character (Alt+0177) in the message body
which seems to appear a lot in Korean but hardly ever in Western messages.

For some reason the amount of messages I was getting like that have recently
stopped. Very strange but hey, Im not complaining.

In my opinion this is a much better than munging the address or using
something totally fake. Also a lot of news providers have a bit in their
Terms and Conditions that you must use a real Email address (You did read
the terms and Conditions didn't you). There is only one good reason for
having a hotmail account and thats to use it for posting stuff on usenet.
