new logon, can recieve mail, but cant send out

Hi,
The family has been using the same (default) account on our XP machine. I
setup my own logon account. Everything is ok so far except for the mail. I
have my
own email address (identity) in outllook express 6, which works in the
default
account, but when I switch to my own logon, I can recieve mail, but cant
send out. The message I
get says it 'cant connect to the SMTP server'; connect error 10060 and error
number
0x800CC67.
Everything seems to be set up ok, any ideas?
