Earlier, in this newsgroup, there were postings that fixes were needed for
Norton Utilities in order for it to co-exist w/ IE4.

Where, exactly, are the fixes available? What URL? I visited Symantec's
<www.symantec.com> site, but I didn't see an obvious link to fixes for IE4.

Thanks,

JimF>

Jim,
It's there, the fix is posted on Symantec's Home Page at http://www.symante
c.com in the top right hand corner. Saw it there last night.

Regards,
Jamie

This is all rather crazy.

The only way I've been able to get the recent updates for Norton Utilities
2.0 is to use Live Update.

Unfortunately, this is a crappy way to do it. I prefer to download the file
first, make a backup. Then I install the file.

I've frantically searched around and found no way to directly get the
Security Update Patch. Before that, there was another update, but it
doesn't appear to be the same thing.

No I didn't, Look closer. OE apparently took some creative liberties with
line breaks. :(

Nope, it's definately on-topic.

Just read the thread, and you'll understand.

You might need to think a bit more before responding.
