When clicking on accounts / add new account nothinf happens.

When i try and user news ://news.server/page.html the news server is added,
but
is not saved when I exit.

What am i doing wrong ?

If you are unable to add accounts in Outlook Express, check the versions
of
the following files:

File Platform Version
----------- -------- -------
INETCFG.DLL Win95 and WinNT 4.71.0.7629
ICFG95.DLL Win95 4.71.0.7629
INET16.DLL Win95 4.71.0.7628
ICFGNT.DLL WinNT 5.00.1476.1
ICWCONN1.EXE Win95 and WinNT 4.71.0.7629

If any files are missing then reinstall Microsoft Outlook Express.

If any files are the wrong version, rename the files, extract your Outlook
Express *.CAB file (mailnews.cab), and move them to the proper
directories.

You can extract CAB files using CabView, a PowerToy available from:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/software/powertoy.htm.
