is there a program out there that will let me recv only e-mail from only
pepole that are in my address book

you can go get a hotmail account  and it has a filter you can set up for that.
 
then you need to put all the wanted email address's in the hotmail accounts book  and that will delete all the others. 
 
then you can set up your outlook express to go and pick up your hotmail account and you dont even have to sign in to the hotmail site that way. 8-)
 
of course that was changed by  the  isp  of  msn.  if you get their   msn ie then you will have to go to the hot mail site. 
 
 cause they made it not let outlook  express download  it  when you use their    msn ie. 
 
  so i don't use theirs  i kept the old way of doing it and get  the  ie updates from the windowsupdate site. 8-)
