I am using the (lite) version of FrontPage Express (IE 5) on a PC
running Windows 95.

I have successfully created a 2 page website.

However, for the life of me, I cannot fathom how FP creates hyperlinks.
The help files just tell me it can be done, but do not tell me how. I
have used the hyperlink icon, and played around with Bookmarks, all to
no good effect.

Can someone tell this newbie exactly how it is supposed to be done?

TIA

I took me ages to find this newsgroup. It has such an amazingly
stupid name - what on earth is the matter with
microsoft.public.inetexplorer.ie4.frontpage.express ???

Hello Tina, I've had a brief look at your sight and it looks like
there's a lot of useful info there, one thing I didn't see was
help on using tables, which I could do with (if it's there
already could you point me in the right direction?).

To tell you the truth, I had put work on my web site on hold for
a while - other things taking up my time (exams, work etc)

I have just figured out what was going on with FPE not showing my
pictures, I wasn't thinking about it at the time, it just came
into my head..... what I had done was save the pictures
as -progressive jpegs- which FPE obviously has problems
displaying. It's fine now.

I'll keep popping back to your site every now and then for tips
etc..

see also the creating

and the next one after that...
You should download the FPE section to look at it offline:)

if you don't have ie5 cut and paste the page into fpe save it..then save any
pics as normal from the net...when you view in ie you will see the page
complete..of course with ie5 all you have to do is wait for complete
download and then press save as....brill
