home page renaming?

frontpage 98 will not overwrite an older version of my home page, instead it
loaded it as default.htm and left the ref's all pointing to default.htm I
tried renaming default.htm to index.htm, fp changed all the ref's to
index.htm but I still have the old home page (where the SE's all point to),
when someone uses a hover button it takes them to index.htm What am I
missing?

If you had a file called
Santech.htm
and a file called
sant.htm
that is two different files right?...Cos they have different names ...
Well Index.htm and default.htm are two different files...u need to delete
the one you don't want...off the server..(at your host) think I am right
anyway:)
