we try to print lots (around 2000 pieces) of html- documents with the
following VBScript codefragment.
< Set ie4=CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application")
< Do while ie4.Busy
< Loop
< ie4.navigate ("\\url\SOMEDocument.html")
< ie4.visible=0
< Do While ie4.ReadyState<>4
< Loop
< On Error Resume Next
< ie4.ExecWB 6, 2
< If Err <> 0 Then
< meldung = "Some Errors occurs while printing: " & Err.Description
< MsgBox meldung, vbExclamation
< End if
(Code is copied while parsing as many times as documents exists, only
changing name and adress)
We are running under NT 4.0 Server and NT WS. After spooling the first 10
printjobs to the printing queue, wscript process terminates. Why ?
After inserting some information dialogs during the spooling process, the
wscript process lives as long as the last
dialog is open. Thats shit!
All help is welcome.
