Looking for activex/plugin text editor to add to websites

Where I work we have a large browser-based system for entering text and html
snippets. In some cases the text boxes can get huge, and hard to manage.
Is there an activeX control around that will allow us to put a decent editor
on those pages as an alternative to the standard text box?

Basically I'm looking for something that will at least highlight links, and
possibly get into more advanced editing features. Everyone using it will
have IE4 or above, if a plugin needs to be installed that's fine.
Any leads would be appreciated!
