Hello everyone,

We have the following problem. When using internet mail and opening a file
with a word attachment, changing the word attachment and saving the
changes, then forwarding the mail to someone else, the changes made to the
word document are not there. It seems that the attachment does not
register the changes we made to it.

We have Windows 95B workstations with MSIE3.02 and Internet Mail included
with 3.02 version.

Any ideas?

When you open an attachment, you are working with a temporary copy. You cannot change the
actual attachment in a message.

You need to save the attachment, edit that. Then attach the updated file to the outgoing
message.
