ImgComp in FrontPage 98 vs. 2000

Does anybody know if the build number of Image Composer included with
FrontPage 2000 is different from the one on FrontPage 98 CD?

I believe I have the one from 98 CD, and it is 1.5.0.2008. If anyone has the
2000 CD or installed from that CD could you please share your build number?

PS. To find out the build number: locate the IMGCOMP.EXE file (when
installed, typically in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Image Composer, on CD it
should be in \ENU\ImgComp folder), click on it using right button, choose
Properties, and on the Details, there should be a File or Product version
listed.

Hi Jan, I know this reply may be a little late but I think I can answer your
question. The build number is the same for the two versions. Product #
1.5.0.2008 although I think it was packed differently. Only FrontPage 97 had
the earlier 1.0 version.

Its fun to see how many people are still using this program. I have been
using it along side Photoshop and Fireworks for the past 11 years. Still have
it as my go to :)

P.S. I have all the versions of this program (including Multiple Undo fix)
available if you ever need them.

I need some help everyone.

I've been using Microsoft Image Composer 1.5 that came with my Frontpage 98
CD, since 1998.

I just bought a new computer and went through all my software that I like to
put on my machines and I can't find my FrontPage 98 CD. Its simply gone!

I have photoshop, I have PhotoDraw, but nothing compares to the basic easy
to use functions of Image composer to do small tasks.

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of this software anywhere? I'd be
happy to buy it again from microsoft if need be, however they dont sell the
Front Page 98 CD any longer.

Anyone know what I can do? Can anyone help me out?
