Help!! Word 97 in W95 displayed content shifted in the option menu

Recently when I opened the word's option menu, I found some tabs' content
display was shifted. They are 'Track Changes', 'Compatibility' and 'Edit'.
The contents in these tabs all shifted to the bottom right-hand-corner
making some selections invisible.

I uninstalled and re-installed twice Word 97 but the problem did not go. I
am wondering if this is a kind of virus attack. If yes, how can I resolve
it? Meanwhile can I still use Word? (actually I am using it to post this
help message). I have McAfee 3.1.9 VirusScan but it did not report any virus
found.

Rename normal.dot to anormal.dot and then open Word.
