זיכרון פיזי שה- windows "לא רואה"

שלום,

ב- PC הותקן זיכרון בגודל 1GB. ה- BIOS רואה 1GB. גם לפי ה- system information
של windows XP ה- Total physical memory = 1GB

אולם כאשר פותחים את my computer:properties ה- windows מודיע על 256MB .
(תחת computer).

הזיכרון המורחב הותקן לאחר התקנת ה- windows. במקור ה- PC הגיע עם 256MB.

ב- PC אחר בוצע תהליך זהה אולם שם ה- windows "רואה" את כל הזכרון.

מה הסיבה לסתירה ?

אתה בטוח שהזיכרון מתאים לחומרה ?
ניסית לעדכן את ה BIOS?
ניסית לעדכן באמצעות WINDOWSUPDATE את מערכת ההפעלה שלך?

בטוח שהזכרון מתאים. אחרת מדוע ב- system information כתוב physical memory=1GB ?

גם ה- BIOS "סופר" 1GB.
לא ניסיתי windows update.
