You can omit page numbers for given levels; you can't omit paragraph
numbers. You can't omit page numbers for specific styles, only for TOC
levels; if you have other headings at the same TOC level as Title A, Title
B, and Title C, then you must assign those styles to a different level (or
levels) and omit page numbers for those (you can format the TOC style(s) at
those level(s) to be the same as other styles so that, say, a Title A entry
has the same format as Heading 1). See
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/TOCTips.htm for more.

As Suzanne replied, you can only omit numbering from a specific *level* (not
from a specific heading). If you specify \t "Heading 8,8" it should work.
You will then have to change the indentation of TOC 8, if you want your
Heading 8 paragraphs to look like level 1 entries in the TOC.

The required TOC field turns out to be { TOC \o "1-4" \n 4-4 \h \z \t
"Heading 8,4" }.

The disadvantage of leaving Heading 8 at level 8 is that you have to include
all 8 heading levels in the TOC. If levels 4-7 are present in the document
but are not wanted in the TOC, then this would be a problem. If they're not
being used, it would be more practical to assign Heading 4 to the previous
My_Title style.

Hi Suzanne and Stefan,

Thank you both for the help.

Suzanne, your last e-mail with the solution { TOC \o "1-2" \n 4-4 \h \z \t
"Heading 8,4" }

did the trick!!!

Have a happy New Year,

Regards,

Tamir :-)
