Installing picture it

I have been trying to install picture it from the disk and it keep getting
half way thru to the point where it is going to check what version Internet
Explorer that I have and then it shows and error that it cannot install
internet explorer 5.0, and that I need to restart but I have internet
explorer 7.0 so what can I do to get it to install?
