My system runs a Symantics scan twice a week and yesterday morning when I
turned on the monitor I see that I have a trojan virus with high risk. For
more information I was directed to Symantics, once there I was given
instructions that involved disabling the system restore on my hard drives.
Doing this does not work, I am being told that there is a problem acessing
Framedyn.dll and one other file. The trojan I have is Trojan.byteverify. I
don't know what it is but I am told that I have to manually remove this file
that Symantics can't by scan and deletion. Please help. I am running XP with
sp3.

=======================================

Maybe the following article will help with the .dll file.

(319114) "Application Has Failed to Start
Because Framedyn.dll Was Not Found"
Error Message When You Open the System
Properties Dialog Box

The following Symantec article is probably
the same one you read.
