sudden window stops and restart

I am using a Fujitsu notebook P5020 for 3 years. My computer is suddenly
restarted with blue screen, (may be) after I added an Fujitsu 80GB external
HDD for memory storage.
The error code is 0x1000000a (0x00000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000000,
0x804dab4c).
I have searched for the internet and send the information to fujitsu. But
no one can help me.
It would be grateful if there is anyone can help me.
