Hi,

Thank you for your post.

I would like confirm with you that whether you have finished the required configuration after finishing SMS server installation (for example discovery method, client push account, site boundary, enabling MP etc..). If you are not sure, please following the following link:

Systems Management Server 2003 Concepts, Planning, and Deployment Guide
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sms/sms2003/cpdg/default.mspx?mfr=true

Please tell more information about what you have done after server setup. How did you configure the SMS site boundary?

Also, please let me know whether there is firewall between the SMS server and clients.

If the problem still persist, please help to send the following logs to v-gz...@microsoft.com (please put “10001318: Can't install SMS client for all workstation“ in the subject line) for further analysis:

From SMS server:

\SMS\Logs
\SMS_CCM\LOGS

From one of the problematic SMS client computers:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\ccm\logs\
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ccmsetup\*.log

Thanks!

Regards,
Gary

Are you using domain administrator privilege with administrator privilege to
install SMS server? If so, could you check if there have a System Management
Container exist in your AD when viewing in advance options?
