Our global team will be using Sharepoint 2007 for our global website and
consequently apply to our regional website.
Though it is still far from implementation day (say 2009), we wish to start
early in aligning our own sources / materials with the upcoming new standard,
so as to work on Sharepoint 2007 successfully.

Currently, we wish to revamp our Virtual Library section (which presents
loads of downloadable brochures), in the way we organize the booklets, and
the effeciency of updating. We have initially discussed with our I.T. on the
possibility to build a *.mdb database that includes some content indexing of
each booklet, and thus enhance convenience the content management and
presentation of the Virtual library section / search function on our web. But
our I.T. has reflected it as infeasible in our future system with Sharepoint
2007.

If so, could you advise the best way we can do in indexing those contents by
not using *.mdb? Should I just use an Excel? any other intermediate format
that is recognised as goes along with Sharepoint 2007?
Please advise. thanks!!
