Under HIS 2009 Client Configurator, choose Help, then Microsoft Host
Integration Server 2009 Configuration Help F1.
Red X Configurator Wizard Response received:
Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 Configuration Wizard
Unexpected failure occurred to display the Help (Configuration)
Additional information:
Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: type (mscorlib)
This is not the case with HIS 2006.
Tested on Windows 2003 Server, 32 bit OS, HIS 2009 Client Software plus seen
on additonal server or two.
I have reproduced the problem as well. I found that a bug on this was opened
and it apparently no longer occurs in the current HIS 2010 builds. I will
verify this in the HIS 2010 Beta next week.
BTW - For Host Integration Server questions and discussions, we have created
a HIS specific form at
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/biztalkhis because the
newsgroup is being closed on June 1.
Thanks...

Thanks for the quick response back and for acting on this. I will document
this for our support groups so they know about it. Looks like only a fix for
HIS 2010 though.
Approximate release of HIS 2010 would be when so we can keep an eye out for
it.
Heard about the newsgroup closing June 1 - thanks.
I installed the HIS 2010 Public Beta and the problem didn't occur. However,
it then dawned on me to go back to test my HIS 2009 Client on my Windows 7
system since I "fixed" the Documentation issue by installing the Microsoft
Document Explorer 2005. I found that the problem didn't occur any longer
once the Documentation was working on the HIS 2009 Client.
If you can do one of the options I mentioned in your other HIS 2009
Documentation post, please go back to see if this problem still occurs in
the Configuration tool when clicking Help and then F1.
Thanks...
