All of a sudden my trusty HP 720 seems to have locked up. All I get is a
faint HP logo similar to the one that appears after reset. I have tried to
reset without success. Any suggestions? This is not a scam. The 720
really is mine. I've had it for more years than I can recall.

False alarm.. Soft reset didn't help but factory default reset did. I back
up all my data so nothing was lost. All appears well now.
