I am trying to work out how to make an application automatically install
itself when the memory card containing it is inserted into a Windows Mobile
PDA. As I understand it from the help in VS2005, I need to create an
autorun.exe application to do this. However, I'm having trouble finding out
how to make such an application read its command line arguments to determine
whether it has been invoked with the "install" or "uninstall" parameter. The
Compact Framework version of Visual Basic does not seem to include any of the
elements which give me access to the command line that was used to invoke the
application.

Any suggestions for how to proceed? Does anyone know of an example VB
implementation of autorun.exe that I could copy?

Questions about programming are far more likely to get useful answers
if asked in a newsgroup for programmers. I just used google
(http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search) to look up
cf vb autorun
and got 192 hits. I took a quick look and am pretty sure several
threads were relevant and useful. I'm sure I saw leads to more
appropriate newsgroups.
