Hi Yvonne -

It may be that the hosted services that your Groove 3.1-using colleagues
rely on for communications are not running smoothly.

Sadly, Groove 3.1 has now (this weekend, I believe) reached the end of its
supported life. You can find more information here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/974478?p=1.

If you're interested in migrating your data from Groove to its replacement,
SharePoint Workspace, or indeed to any other platform, then get in touch - I
can help.

does that mean that if I have 2007 my clients also need to have 2007? also,
I don't remember if I backed up my account when I removed 3.1 I remember it
asking me if I wanted to save the information and I did then upgraded when
2007 was installed.

what other choices do I have besides gotomypc.com or logmein123?

It means that anyone with Groove 3.1 in use is at risk, if they are dependent
on Microsoft's relay servers. They can upgrade to SharePoint Workspace, or
you could look at migrating to a (hosted?) SharePoint solution or something
like Zoho.

need something similar to groove...gotomypc or logmein123 would not work for
my and my clients....don't want them in my computer and cant expect them to
leave theirs on forever so that i can work at my leisure.
