Hi, I've just bought a Mac Air (OS X 10.8). Does anyone know of any digital world clock widgets for dashboard? I'd like something similar to the digital clock available on my iphone where I can show the time and date of various countries around the world simultaneously.
The links don't allow to download anymore, at least not from Firefox and I cannot spend all my times juggling between three web browsers because now web development is becoming browser-targeted. I am just getting a page describing the applications. Links either go to a widget browser or to Apple's page describing the Mac computer. Moreover, the Mac page somehow disables keyboard shortcut for Back in Firefox, which is an additional unnecessary annoyance. I needed a digital clock widget to work around the fact that the time displayed in the upper right corner of the screen is in a too small font for me to read comfortably, and there is no way to enlarge the font. Seems I have to take the plunge and write myself a small application, quite bad that something so basic is not out of the box and download links are always broken or outdated.

I found a JavaFX demo application displaying a digital clock. I had to download the source from -ui-hxzon/source/checkout and compile it with javac (from Oracle JDK 8), then I was able to run it. This can be started and moved to a space of its own. Not as great as something integrated on the dashboard, I would like to be able to start it from the Dock or Launchpad rather than writing a command on the Terminal, but there are far more JavaFX applications than Mac applications, so less likely to be stuck with nothing in case of a broken link.
I'd like to see a new and relatively simple widget in ArcGIS Dashboard. It's a analog (or digital) clock. One of my users is going to show the dashboard on a big screen in their office, and wants to see the time.

It says that the pop-up calendar on the digital clock should have an option to set it up to work with Kalendar, but when i look at the digital clock widget settings it does not have such an option and i can not get the pop-up calendar to show any data from Kalendar at all?
I have a project with a little status bar at top of the screen. I have used the custom container function. Along with some other status icons it shows time via the digital clock widget. This widget needs the include
as it is basically a text filed that is manipulated by clock functions. While working on the project it was decided that we remove a former present text are as it was not longer needed. The removal resultet in an error while compiling the project in STM32CubeIDE showing the following error:
I have created a little custom container containing various images for battery, wifi, etc. and the digital clock widget. This custom container is added upon multiple screens. But the issue lies within the code generation of the customContainerBase.cpp. The digitalClock widget is using the setColor function which is included in Color.hpp but adding just the digitalClock widget, touchgfx does not generate this include. The error is reproducable for me. Adding a textArea to the same custom container makes touchgfx generate the necessare color.hpp include. Removal of the textArea will result in a removal of the color.hpp include although the digitalClock widget is stil using it.
This is kind of stupid but for whatever reason I cannot get my digital clock widget to work. I just shows invisible like its there but just a black space where it is. If I right click on it I get the menu for it. I tried deleting it and readding it but no go. Any ideas?
Yea I already checked that. When I right clock on the widget it always says 12:00 am. so fo whatever reason its not seeing the time. I wonder if this has anything to do with all the other icon/widget issues people are having with kde 4.2?
Having a prominent and easily accessible digital clock on your iPhone or iPad Home Screen can be incredibly useful, especially if you have poor eyesight. In this short tutorial, we will guide you through the steps of adding a big digital clock widget to your device, ensuring you never lose track of time.
6) Now, instead of tapping Save as new widget, tap the current (01) widget to replace it. This will make things easier. And even if you choose to Save as new widget, you can press and hold the added widget on the Home Screen and choose Edit Widget > Choose and pick a widget.
I tried about a dozen clock apps for the purpose of this article, and out of those, I found Widgets GO to be the perfect one for adding a clear, nice-looking digital clock widget to the Home Screen. In addition to that, you can also try these free iOS apps to put a digital clock on your iPhone or iPad Home Screen. The top featured image of this article shows widgets from these apps:
My team likes the world clock gadget that comes with service-now but was wondering if there is any way to make the clocks digital.
The analog clocks are great but very hard to read at a quick glance. Digital clocks would help because then we could see the time and if the date was there as well is would be helpful. Would it be possible to use something like the personal clocks from a site like TimeandDate.com and insert them into our service-now homepage or some other custom clock generator that uses java or html?
That clock widget was added when UI Pages were created, to show just one example of what someone could do with them. The whole thing combines three concepts: a homepage Widget (System UI -> Widgets), a UI Page "example_cool_clocks", and a UI Script "CoolClock" invoked by the UI Page.
There's a URL in the UI Script to the website where the actual clock script comes from. I sometimes wish we hadn't used that example, since it's buggy at times and in some browsers, but there you have it.
Anyway, my point is that since it's just a UI Page (for the HTML) and UI Script (for the client side JavaScript), it could probably be replaced with any of a number of similar, publicly available scripted clocks.
Here's how to create your own Homepage widget:

And at the end of all this, if someone has already solved and has a practical solution they can share, that'll probably be much more useful to you than what I just typed.
So, after a few days of working on this. I created a UI page, which you will need to add to the sys_widget World Clocks area. I created a digital clock that doesn't do the math. You just need to know the timezone. This will do a live refresh every second of only this UI page via a SetInterval, it will not reload the entire page, or worry about DST. The divs are easily modifiable if you need to change the format or shape.
To update the time which the clock displays, one of the following functions can be used.
setTime24Hour(uint8_t hour, uint8_t minute, uint8_t second)
setTime12Hour(uint8_t hour, uint8_t minute, uint8_t second, bool am)
Once you have added the google account to korganizer and have it all sync'd up you should be able to see your calendars. You then need to do as Nik Reiman said and right click on clock ->Digital clock settings ->Calendar ->Add check to "Show events".
The DigitalClock class provides a clock widget showing the time with hours and minutes separated by a blinking colon. We subclass QLCDNumber and implement a private slot called showTime() to update the clock display:
You can't make the widget change from analogue to digital, but you can replace the analogue one from a digital one. Hold your finger on the clock widget and drag it to the delete icon to remove it. Then, to add a digital clock widget, go to the app drawer and click Widgets, and find Digital clock in the list. Hold your finger on the digital clock to pick it up, and drag it where you like on the home screen.
Ele Digital Clock is an Elementor widget that will allow you to create and personalize digital clock in an easy and intuitive way. In addition to the different clock models you can create, this tool also comes with predefined style templates with predefined colors and contrasts.
I just got a new Samsung Galaxy S22. Not everything transfered the same from my S9. Foremost of concern, the size of the time display on the clock weather widget. It's so much smaller than on my S9. I hate it! Have you resolved that yet? Please!!!
It counts everything up by one second intervals and once your seconds reach 60, it adds a minute and sets your seconds back to 0. Then does the same if you hit 60 minutes (and you can add the same kind of check after the hours when it reaches 12 or 24 if you want.) This setup needs 3 variables for seconds, minutes and hours and a looping timeline with a length of 1 second and an event track with an event at the 1 second mark. You could also have your widget use only one text object and use the append node for strings to combine the results and just convert it to text.
Hello,
I use a secondary user profile but I can't make the digital clock widget to stick after the session is ended. Whenever I log into my user profile the clock widget is not there any more and I have to manually put it again on the home screen.
I'm using the latest GOS version for Pixel 4a.
It's nothing major obviously but it's a bit annoying, wondering if anyone have encountered the same.
