Many times after looking up historical detail (or even detail), if you
select a transaction line and click the "Journal Entry" hyperlink, it brings
up the journal entry- you get the JE detail you want, but there is no option
to print or output. So I note the JE number and go to "Inquiry/Financial
Inquiry/Journal Entry" enter the JE number, bring up the JE and print, except
if it is a historical JE. You get an error message if you inquire on an JE
that is in a closed year. In this case you have to go run a cross-reference
report, for which you need to know the JE number and the historical year it
was posted to setup and generate the report.
Suggestion: Allow print/output option available at the point of drill down
on the "Journal Entry" hyperlink and/or add Historical JE Inquiry with
print/output option.

We have the same problem with one of our customers, it´s critical for their
process to have this historical journal inquiry.
Please let me know if you have a solution or workaround.

It still baffles me why there isn't a screen to directly input the journal
entry number.
