I install the game fine on both my CD-Rom drives, but when I try to
execute I get the title screen and then it crashes out back to windows
with the message: GOS Internal Function Stop Cannot Find File
'assets\scripts\DebugInfo.txt'

Anyone have any ideas? There is no such txt file on the CD. I'm
running a K6II 450 with 256 RAM on an Asus P5A with a 10gig drive (2gig
free) and a Voodoo 3500 with latest drivers and Direct X 8a. Tried with
and without version 1.02 patch, and both primary display and software
mode; same result every time. The CD-Roms are a Yamaha 4416S writer
(I've seen there are issues with some Yamaha writers, but not this one I
don't think) and a Matshita CR584 12x.

Any help gratefully received - I've wasted an eternity on so called help
sites...

Thanks in advance
Analex

Hello Geoff Covey,

Try Uninstalling the game, then goto a dos windows and deltree the
c:\windows\temp folder.

Then run msconfig and choose selective start-up. Leave only "run system.ini"
checked. Restart your computer.
Try installing the game to a new directory.

You can also try copying the crimson skies cd to the hard drive and
installing the game from there.

There is also a old article with some steps you can try.

I don't play many games but my son was finished with this flight sim
and suggested I give it a try. I have an Pentium 450, 256mb, and
Gforce2 MX. I got the same error about the debuginfo.txt. I searched
all my hard drives AND the game CDROM. No such file. I tried all of
the solutions on the WEB that I could find and the only thing that
actually worked was installing the complete game on my hard drive via
the option within the setup program.
