Unsuccessful installation

Recently purchased Hoyle Card Games (Sierra)...after
inserting CD, installation starts and then stops, dialog
box comes up and states, "1607 unable to installshield
scripting runtime." HP tech support says no to help on
game installation...am operating an HP 7935, Windows XP
which is one and a half years old (extended warranty with
HP last October)...the above product, so far, has been
the only faulty game installation out of three...have
contacted Sierra (Hoyle) via e-mail but no response
except for acknowledgement of email...
