peeps. I have a real problem. I usually play formula 1 by
Ea Sports on and off line. A while back I installed dx9.
The game I don't think really needs it. And my system: p-
4 2.53, XP Pro, 1024 mgs rambus, intel 850EMV2 mobo,
visiontek ti4600, audigy sound card. Was working ok on
dx8.1b. I installed dx9 not knowing that my gpu did'nt
support dx9. Now when i play my racing games, and only my
games I occasionally get my pc to just lose video signal.
Running @ 1024-768@32 85hz refresh rate. I have tried all
the latest and older drivers, Using 44.03 now. But I wil
be racing, the nall of a sudden my screen will just go
black, I have reached up and just for grinnies shut off
my monitor, and then back on. It says on the screen to
check for video signal. It's not heat related, I have
more fans in this tower than you can imagine, internal
tower temps never reach above 100 degrees F. I found a
dx9 uninstaller on a forum. But am hesitant to try it as
a last resort. I can sit here all day long and surf the
net and everything else. But as soon as I start racing,
then randomly it will lose signal. I have tried
everything, even reinstalled my games several times, and
am very proffecient at my game files knowledge. Anyone
have any ideas as to why my video signal is being lost?
