Services needed for AGE of Empires II

Hi

I want to play Age of Empires II from my Windows XP Pro. workstation. I
intend to play the game on my LAN. The problem is that I cannot see the
servers when in game (I know they have been created). I suspect it has to do
something with some system services.

I want to know which services would be needed in order to play this game. In
case you suspect some other problem please tell me.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.
