Combat Flight Simulator Aircraft Listing

I am using the original Combat Flight Simulator on my PC.
I downloaded third party aircrafts into the CFS aircraft
directory.

After starting up the CFS, and when it comes to selecting
aircrafts on the CFS Aircraft Selection menu, the list of
the third party aircrafts does not show up. The third
party aircraft works fine on my friend's CFS. What do I
have to do to make the third party aircrafts show up on
the CFS Aircraft Selection menu?

This is often related to sound/panel configs not pointing to the correct
alias - check each config file in the panel and sound folders in the added
aircraft which are NOT showing up - make sure they 'point' to sounds and/or
panels already in your system.
