FSX SP1&2 + Missing gauges

Hello, Is there some way I can verify if SP1 & 2 are installed on FSX
Deluxe.Only I am having some graphics issues (ie missing gauges etc). I have
tried to re-install both updates just to be sure, but keep getting odd
messages -preventing re-loading either.

Also does anyone know of a 'fix' that could remedy the missing
gauges/control non functioning problem -only on some but NOt all add-on
aircraft?

My hearty thanks for anyone out there that can lend a helping hand.
