I have Vista Home Premium running on a Dell Inspiron 530 with an Intel Core2
Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz with 2 GB of Physical RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce
8300 GS Video Adapter with 128 MB RAM.

Vista rates it at 3.3 according to its performance meter.

I have dual LCDs running at 1280 X 1024, 32 bit color at 75 Hz.

What are the recommended settings for smooth Flight Simulator X experience?

When I load a flight, the screens both go black then the flight sim starts
to blink from an all black screen to the sim, then all black...etc...until I
hit the Windows key. The game minimizes to the Taskbar while the desktop
loads. From there I can maximize the game from the Taskbar and it works
without blinking.

Its just a slight glitch toward getting the flight to load otherwise flights
are quite smooth.

Can someone please offer some advice to get over this problem?

I have tried changing the Sim Video options to as low as it goes and the
problem still exists.
