yes, yes *hangs head in shame* i do macro....but you see, i only do it for
arcane an item enchantment, and it do actually play alot more than i macro,
actually macroing is frustraing becaue 99.9% of the time something goes
wrong and it stops working (i'm such a terrible code writer, either that or
i swear my computer is out to get me) but anyways....i'd just like to state
my own personal *changed* opinion, since i don't want to be a hypocrite, it
does seem to be nice to keep me from only being able to raise my arcane 4
times and nothing else in a whole lvl, which getts very frustrating and
disheartening. And some people may argue if you can't deal with that then
you shouldn't play the game, but i think the game is put out there for our
enjoyment and if thats what makes a person happy then so be it. I shall now
take my normal stance of sitting on the wall, hanging my head in shame, and
waiting for the stones to be thrown upon my head.
/me thinks this might be even worse then the buying gerties dagger off ebay
confession.....

Don't know if it will make you feel any better, but I certainly don't
look down on you because you macro. There is a lot of talk about
macroing magic having a negative effect on the spell economy, and it's
true to a certain extent. But the effect is not really a big deal,
IMO. So macro away, if it helps you enjoy the game more, and as long
as it is done with some consideration of others. For example, I don't
think macroing magic in the middle of town would be looked upon
kindly. :)
TRH
I just could not help myself.

Ok people, nows your chance to air your grievences on macros, or forever
hold your posts for another board...
Juliet, personally, I don't care. I has not affected my game other than Lag
in the Meeting Halls.
Some do, some don't. I may, I may not. Some admit it, others don't...
Can someone loan me a nickle.....

As long as Turbine accepts macroing while the player is absent, there's no
reason to crucify those that do it. The biggest wrong of unmonitored macroing is
the unnecessary increased server wide lag it causes for all those who actually
play the game. The ball's in Turbine's court on this one.
I doubt they'll make it a CoC breach, though personally I think they should. It
would increase the enjoyment, and make the game more playable for all but a
small, whining minority.
