FP 2000 won't play videos

my OS is winxp, sp2, home ed., firefox

the videos can be inserted and played from page Preview tab but not in
File>Preview in Browser nor after being uploaded to my website. Also,
this code: <object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie"
value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FX4tJ3dJ5iI"> </param> <embed
src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FX4tJ3dJ5iI" type="application/x-
shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> </embed> </object>
....from Youtube will insert but not play from any page or browser.
I am trying to put some short video clips on my site but can't get
past FP with anything.
Please help,
