I've done a small website in Dreamweaver. The client wants
to use Frontpage to do his updates. Can I switch from
Dreamweaver to Frontpage without a bunch of problems? If
so, is there someplace that can give me instructions on
how to do this?

Create a new Web in Frontpage and import the existing files.

But only if you are not going to use DW again.

In my opinion, it is not a good idea to try to mix these two authoring
systems.

Are Dreamweaver Templates or Library items being used here? Which version
of Dreamweaver?

I've used FP for many years and while it was hard to let go I had to the coding was dropping way behing for current browsers. Still the best as far as functionality but do not mix the two.

It is a mess if you do. I just tried it a few days ago and could not fix it when I took it back to DW.

If it's just updating one page maybe as long as they keep the same style but the css may get contaminated.

Good luck...
