recaptcha is explained in pages commencing from
http://www.google.com/recaptcha
In partcular, the developers guide (which
explains how to install it) is on
http://code.google.com/apis/recaptcha/intro.html
Note that recaptcha requires server side
scripting, such as PHP, "classic" ASP or asp.NET
- it will not work with FrontPage extensions.
Any HID, such as CAPTCHA, recaptcha etc. requires
server side scripting to be effective, but FP
extensions and Server Side Scripting do not mix.
See
http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/fp/articles/2007/12/01/03/Reduce_Spam_in_Form_results.aspx
for other methods - again scripting is required
on the server for reliable results.
