Hi everyone.

I am trying to solve a photo display problem because of broken links on my
site by recreating my photo gallery in FP in each subweb but FP will not save
the file because it gives me the following message before I publish: "Server
error: The folder that would hold URL 'SWEsubdomain/FrameonStand.jpg'does not
exist on the server.

What are the steps you took to produce the error:

Opened the index file / deleted old photo gallery / chose the insertion
point / clicked insert/web component/photo gallery/layout/ then chose the
pictures I wanted then tried to save the file.

FP then displayed a window listing all the pictures and asking to save
(although no path or folder was specified). When this message kept
reappearing, I tried to save them in another folder by clicking the change
folder button. That did not work either.

It worked on my main site but not in my subweb.

Don't even bother any more with that component! Raed this and try JAlbum!

Hi Eleanor!

Thanks for the tip. I took a look at JAlbum and downloaded it. I will try
it for sure. But how will I add it in FP? Do I insert it like an picture on
file or import it?

Concerning the error message, I also get it when I insert a picture from a
file. Does that come from when FP lists and compares all files before
publishing? If so, how can I fix the problem? I have to delete the picture
and the photo gallery to be able to save the file.

By the way, I like your site!

You make a folder on your desktop (containing your prepared photos) to put
all the JAlbum items into. After you've built the slideshow the way you want
it IMPORT the whole folder into FP and link to the index page that has been
made.
Just don't mess around with the FP photogallery any more.
I'm glad you like my site. Be sure to read this also before you begin.
