I have been trying to code JavaScript page to work with
both Netscape and IE and thought I had gotten it to work.
I applied the shared borders to it. It looked good on the
local machine in Normal and preview. I published it and
the left shared border is on the left below the main page
content. Also certain paragraph shows up at bottom below
the bottom shared border.

This is with MSIE 6. In Netscape 7 my images "+" & "-" do
not show up, but the alternate text shows instead like it
is not finding my gifs. Also for my theme which has
gradient blue background on left shared border does not
show up in IE or Netscape.

Are there any rules anywhere on how to use JavaScript in
FP 2002 and what to avoid? Such as CSS--found that did not
work for images and borders. Found "document.all" does not
work for Netscape.

Thanks for information.

This one has no shared borders applied.
second url is:
this is one I applied shared borders to and is messed up.

The Word-Art titles do not show up in MSIE however they do
in Netscape 7.0.

I was given challenge to make it work in Netscape and
MSIE, and I wanted to find out what was involved.

Thanks for any information!

Malformed html
- you have multiple body / head section tags in
http://easternshoreartcenter.com/become_a_patron1.htm
Validate your page and html

PS you are also using word art (VML) unsupported by NN

I got it to work! This has been interesting exercise for
me to get JavaScript code to work in Netscape and MSIE.
Found out Netscape does not like "document.all". Had
problems with table elements and GetElementById in MSIE,
etc. Also took out CSS. Now page is working. I had to go
into FP2002 and move paragraph up in the code right under
DIV. Before it looked good in preview, it would not look
right after it was published.
