Please help me with my posting as soon as possible. At
the present time, I am trying to create my first personal
web page using Microsoft Frontpage 2000. I have done
pretty well so far, except I wanted to add in a Guestbook
page where people could write down suggestions and other
sorts of things. I have tried to research this on the web
but have come to success. Some web pages say that I need
a form to make a Guestbook, but others suggest that it is
already part of Microsoft Frontpage. Please help me if
you can. Thank you for your time.

Have you looked in the FP Help Files?

Is there a secret to having entries "approved" before they appear "live" ?

I would be too afraid that a guest book, without having messages approved
before posting, might end up with some pretty nasty things...

No
The FP Guest Book does include that ability
- that requires knowledge of server side coding and use of a database

Could you give us a clue as to where to start to learn how to do this?
Sounds interesting. THANK YOU.

There are easier ways of wasting your time you know.

Do yourself a favour and get a blog instead .. it will enhance your seo
(search engine optimisation) of your main site and probaly validate.. best
of all the fpse (frontpage server extensions) won't be dropped (if they
haven't already) by your host in the near future.

There are plenty of free one's and its easy enough to install a blog with a
domain if you don't want blogger or wordpress online.
