I have been using IE7 on my home laptop (VISTA Home Premium with Service Pack
2 installed) for quite awhile with no issues. Starting about a week ago I
noticed that if I tried to download something from the web I could not get a
"complete" download. For example, a page would download, but it would be
blank, or a program would download, but end up with a blank screen. Now the
problems have progressed to the point that when I got to a secure web site
like my bank, I put in my user name and password, and get an error message.
Many web pages allow me to get to something, like a "help" page, but then I
cannot type in any information! I've resorted to using a second lap top to
see if someone can help me. I tired to install the Microsoft FixIt, but
there was an error in installation. Help! Oh, I also followed the
instructions to manually reset IE to default settings, but still have the
same problems.

You can do a lot with Foxpro, the subject of the group, but nothing
that will help you here.

You'll be more likely to find help by trying again in a newsgroup that
has "internet exporer" in its name.
